Look a little closer
A museum record can separate an object name, material, technique, date, maker and place. These fields answer different questions. A date assigned to a bag is not automatically a date for every similar-looking bag, and a photograph may not show all construction details.
A note for your design book
Choose one record and copy only its field names into a notebook. Summarise the declared information in your own words, leaving uncertain or absent details visibly open. Link the record and note when you consulted it. The exercise helps you read an accessory as a documented object rather than treating a short caption as a complete history.
